Yesterday on NPR I heard a great story about the emerging notion of 'Slacktavism'. This is the idea of believing in a lot of good causes and endorsing them, but never actually doing anything to change your lifestyle or go to an event or donate to a cause. I like BigCarrot because it's about results... and hopefully will discourage slacktivism.
